Health Carousel Locum Tenens Higher Standard Award Recipient - Richard Beevers

Health Carousel Locum Tenens recently launched the Higher Standard Award to recognize one healthcare provider each quarter. This award is for a provider who goes above and beyond in their work and truly lives our mission of improving lives and making healthcare work better.‍

We are proud to present the Higher Standard Award to: Richard Beevers, Nurse Practitioner

‍How Richard improves lives and makes healthcare work better: Richard Beevers is Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner working in New Mexico. He started working with Health Carousel Locum Tenens in April 2020, working a 7 on 7 off schedule. Unfortunately,  the housing he was originally placed in closed the end of April due to COVID-19. Richard has been staying in transit housing at the hospital in order to keep working. Richard has never complained about anything and talks about how much he enjoys it there at his assignment. Last week Richard called his recruiter, Terri, and stated he was exposed to COVID-19 from a patient that came into the ER.  He had to be tested along with everyone else in the ER and he will be tested again before he returns home. He should have been home on June 29, but they were going to quarantine him until July 1 and test him again so he could return home to spend some time with his wife and children before returning back on July 5.
