Q&A with a Locum Tenens: Sabrina Dvorak, NP

‍Health Carousel Locum Tenens: What do you enjoy about work as a locum tenens?

Dvorak: I had my resume out on a website and Terri [Ball] found me. She called asking if I would be interested, and as she described the clinic, I knew it was the perfect fit. Terri really worked with me. She coached me through the process and did everything with me step by step. That made things so easy to transition to a new role. Terri was professional, organized, and genuinely a good person!

Dvorak: It is important when working with an agency to have someone you can talk to directly whom you trust. You can be honest. [Terri and I] have a professional but very relatable and comfortable relationship, and it makes things so easy.

Terri and I have been touching base for a long time. She knows my story. She knows about my kids. And you know with children there is a lot of stuff in addition that you need in terms of benefits. [Health Carousel Locum Tenens is] just super awesome at working with you. I enjoyed being able to negotiate, and getting positive feedback from them is so helpful.

It's not just an agency where they say, "Here's your job," and won't talk to you later.  I feel communicated with and appreciated when working with them.
